i did this tattoo on my friend maq lat night. it’s called ” CNTRL - ALT - RPLNSH ” it’s about positivity, discipline, growth and our friendship which initially bloomed on the internet. we listened to danny brown and high fived at the end also we ate heaps of candy and talked about babez. it was a totally good seesion 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. with breaks for peeing and so maq could smoke and we could look at our fav blogz.

maq wrote me while i was in hospital to tell me what my blog meant to her. she said me and maddy’s letters had driven her to feel more courageous in being honest and sharing her feelings. i was infinity symbolz touched by recieving these exxxtra real feelings in my inbox. we talked for ages about it and have been chatting more regularly since. our FB chats often made the rooms less sterile.

the shape in the head is for discipline and consistancy, the face is featureless to be as a reciever to all forms of education or take in new ideas with a blank heart for maximum optimism, the head is orientated upwards to obsess on the stars and light channels, the hair is complex and many bobbed to represent growth and time, the stick is in the hair because it looks very good (fashun) and i like sticks, lastly the phrase “CNTRL - ALT - RPLNSH” refers to the process of reclaiming your heart and life from things that darken the atmosphere. an inversion of “CNTRL - ALT - DELETE” in that this tattoo is about learning yourself and strengthening with acceptance, not hating yourself and hiding the things that you don’t immediately understand.
